Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers Stuff

RING RACERS RACE AS A RING

Grit Mountain V1 [NOT RELEASED YET]

My first fully waypointed, original map for Ring Racers, started a few days before the official High Voltage Ring mapping tool was released thanks to haya's unofficial config for Ultimate Zone Builder. Used HVR to finish the original track with waypoints and then stuck with it [duh] when it was time to do some geometry adjutments and etc.

I'm naming the video linked V1 since there were a few geometry changes done since then after a playtesting session with players- likely will drop that first version as a link here when the Message Board opens for RR addons and can drop the V2/official release of the track there.

Dynamite Wilderness K [NOT RELEASED YET]

The K stands for Kart, as it is a virtually straight port of the same name track as it was seen in SRB2Kart ArcadePak- which I made if you somehow didn't know that already [I've seen a few that only found out when I shared this new port lol]

Has been scaled up a little and has a few dash rings since there's the new half pipe effect that now applies in a few of the track places that is always applied. But otherwise, its the same ol' map you know and love. Although be warned that when this drops on the MB, you might want to be careful with the difficulty you set for bots. They get RIDICULOUS at high difficulties.

F-ZERO Stuff

My F-ZERO X Custom Tracks

Currently a WIP hub for my years-old creations exported to FZEP for this game.

The F-ZERO GX Master Diamond Experience

Silly ol' montage of the last time I suffered just to complete Master Diamond in FZGX once again succesfully.

[Kart: Custom Tracks] ArcadePak

My stacked track pack for the game, featuring a roster of original maps which you might recognize from online servers such as Snowdust Valley, Tricolored Space Zone and Dynamite Wilderness Zone, but also includes Virtua Racing's Big Forest and Ridge Racer's Seaside Route 765.

[Kart: Custom Track] Prototrack

First original track I have finished and released for Kart since 2022. Still have to try it with other players myself yet but...as of May 15th, it has 140 downloads, wow.

[Kart: Video] The KartKrew Interview

In [my own] retrospective, one of my most impressive pieces of work to this day: An almost one-hour Ace Attorney/objection.lol video...featuring an interview I made with the SRB2Kart devs at KartKrew.

Was reminded to add it February 24th, 2024 [today when I wrote this] after Oni shared it again on the formerly-known-as-bird-site.

[Kart: Video] The Unofficial 4th Anniversary Video

Back when there wasn't going to be a new preview video for SRB2Kart v2 as it was known back then, now known as [the finally released] Dr. Robotnik Ring Racers, due to the team needing to focus on the development itself, I thought on cooking this for a celebration of SRB2Kart's legacy in its place after having grown attached with it for the years it had been out.

If you are curious, I also happened to find a 3 minute clip from back when I was editing it with KDenlive. Always interesting when the simplest of things can still add up to great effect.

[Kart: Video] The Unofficial 5th Anniversary Special

One more year of living, one more year of Kart content, and just one more time where there was a slot for me to fill on a whim for the 5th anniversary of SRB2Kart.

To this day, it still makes me happy to see so many people happy from the memories they got from the video AND even see people find their own montages showcased for a second in here.

Apologies to certified karters Spycrab and Boi Rocket for missing them in the roll [I hadn't noticed until someone pointed it out to me months layer- it was a rush to get this done in the first place]...next time I'll make sure to have 'em.

[SRB2: Levels] SRB2Xtreme - Jade Gully Demo

A project I never continued but had left off with a complete port of Jade Gully Act 1 from that Sonic X-treme version plus a hidden WIP chunk of Crystal Frost 1.

[SRB2: Level] Hectic Harbor and Peach Castle*

Hectic Harbor is a level I made to participate in the OLDC Summer 2020, the first OLDC hosted for the game since years ago and the first one for the 2.2 version of the game. I admittedly kinda rushed it to the point that its a little fun playable thing but barebones in a handful of things- ESPECIALLY visually...but hey, I managed to leave my handprint in the game's history :)

Peach Castle was on the other hand an experiment with vertex slopes to try recreate that outside area VERTEX BY VERTEX...and since the OLDC also was rolling out a battle contest, I repurposed it for that. Both maps were subbmitted for the contest, so you can only check these as part of the whole contest package itself- as I never updated these to be standalone.

My MUGEN Lifebars

Note: ALL of these except for the WIP VF5 lifebars requires localcoord 640,480 in MUGEN to be configured, or else they will show up too small.

Dead or Alive 3 Lifebar [1.1 only]

Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution Lifebar

Sonic the Fighters Lifebar [1.0 OK]

Bloody Roar 3 Lifebar [WIP - 1.0 OK]

Bloody Roar 4 Lifebar [WIP - 1.0 OK]

Bloody Roar Primal Fury/Extreme Lifebar [WIP - 1.0 OK]

Virtua Fighter 5 Lifebars [WIP - 1.0 OK?]

Yeah, back in 2018 I had went ham with creating lifebars for MUGEN for some reason. All of these are usable, although any that is hosted in GitHub is probably in a WIP state.
