Star Drifter Course is a 3-lap race track set in a space platform [how is it working? I don't know], a race track tailor made for drifting and triangle dashing. Driving with good lines and good timing with triangle dashes will be quite rewarding for races here.

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • You can choose to Triangle Dash off the ledge at the very start, or fastfall into one of the sneaker panels that's right after the jump. Or maybe both?.

  • Don't forget you can use rings to keep speed in a long drift through the longer turns. You don't want to waste a chance to get a rainbow driftboost, do you?

  • Speaking of rainbow driftboost chances, the spiral at the end of the track is perfect for one - but there's also a ledge when the spiral ends. If you were to release a triangle dash from a rainbow drift there...hmm...maybe you'll want to try that out for yourself :]

    • DEVELOPMENT

    I don't have the most amount of memories from when I was hands on developing this track, as I think I really just winged the layout one night and eventually landed on what I got - but there's a few clips I had shared over the official Kart Krew Dev Discord server that paint a timeline, both with some of the progression and the dates for each clip. I'd say that the most notable one is the one below, which I had got from July 11th 2024 and shows the layout almost the same as the final version...but was otherwise entirely made out of placeholder textures and some stuff still not adjusted.
