Super Grit Moutnain is a reimagining of my very first track for Ring Racers, aiming to have some familiar aspects (big starting spiral, half pipe after that, big slopes) but remixed in a new take from scratch that extends into a 3-lapper with all the knowledge I have now for mapping - both for the new layout gimmicks and look.
TIPS AND TRICKS
The starting turn is tailor made for you to hold a long drift [more so if you can use rings to descend faster] - you can aim for a blue or rainbow and either try to stick to the road or try to ride the ramp nearby for more rins before letting go.
The section with the double split has these lava corners indicated with a spike - they will damage you, so watch out for those.
For the first two tripwire shortcuts, both have rewards if you fastfall at the right time. The first one lets you jump over a tucked in ringbox for extra speed after the voltage drop [although make sure to fastfall instead of landing over the ledge - or else you'll get damaged], while the second one actually needs you to fastfall over the trick springs to make the jump - and you get free voltage off it.
There are plenty of rings for you to hold long drifts - you'll want to take advantage of those with how wide and long the turns can be. Remember that you can hold on to a spinning item while spending rings if you keep holding down the item button BEFORE touching the item box as long as you keep picking up rings.
As with any track with long stretches anywhere, tethering is your friend. Don't forget you can still use it if you keep close enough to a player ahead of you even if you're at a wide turn.
