Dunkey having a cameo for this game in his Pirate Yakuza-related video with Delsol doing his failed winpose [the one where he jumps off-screen...and lands face-first into the floor afterwards] reminded me of how cool I used to think this game was. I definitely should play it again, at least to try for that rare 1CC that I was close to once but died a single time to B.M. last time I tried.
The Dreamcast version may look watered down in texture quality and some stages, but at least it was the one and only home port that you could emulate through any Dreamcast emulator [and is also available in Fightcade, so it is the only convenient way to play it online at the moment], but it is sort of nice that Like a Dragon Gaiden and Pirate Yakuza brought the game to modern platforms for those that happened to get those games...or like my favorite Wario64 bit says, they get in their 60 dollar copy of Daytona USA 2 which includes a free side game called Like a Dragon Gaiden.
These are all against the good fellow known as ThePoopTickler [no, it's not a joke] who is the only person I had got to play Fighting Vipers 2 online with through Fightcade - props to him to being down for the long rounds. His Raxel is definitely a tough one to work around, even when I'm playing as Bahn who is also considered top tier alongside Raxel himself.
