My beginnings were through a layout builder in SADGRL's website - archived as of the start of 2024, but in any case it was through some basic stuff done with it and a lot of trial-and-error with testing colors, as well as a few months later some tests with other HTML themes that I didn't quite get to stick with.
Eventually got to find the layout used in this website as of today - a layout that was actually out after March 2024 [so came out sometime after my last search for a new layout for the site lol], one named Cyanobacteria, found at ribo.zone's layouts page. When I got my hands into it, the immediately compact form and old-school appearance instantly caught my attention, making me stick with it head first with minimal changes so far.
I think that's the most abridged version of the story...both in the way I described the journey while skipping any visuals of old versions...and how I didn't have much energy as of writing this to go into more detail on what some of the previous versions of this site had - although a few things have been brought over to the new site [one such example is, if you've read the UserPenalties tale at the Why the Website area, that was taken from an old Profiles page I had started but never expanded beyond four or five mentions.
